To keep the OT sterile, the people who work there wear caps over their hair and masks over their mouths and noses to avoid spreading germs. All you may see are their eyes. Some may be familiar to you and some you may not recognize. You will have already have met the anaesthetist, myself and briefly you may have met my assistant for the operation.

They might all look alike, but everyone in the OT has a different job. 
 

There is the scrub nurse, Jane, the scouts and the orderlies.
