Bucket Handle Tear of the Meniscus

The meniscus is normally behind the knee condyle

Here the meniscus has been torn free from its attachment, except for the front and the back. It is now sitting in front of the condyle, like the handle of a bucket.

Arthroscopic scissors cut the remaining attachment of the meniscus.

The meniscus can then be removed in one piece
