Arthroscopic
picture of a torn ACL- the ligament stump is often referred
to as a Cyclops lesion.

Reconstruction
begins with a small incision to the inside of the leg to
harvested the tendons.

The tendons are exposed.

They
are then stripped with a tendon stripper.

Stitches are
then applied to the tendon.

The prepared
graft is then sized, to determine the size of the bony
tunnels. This finalises the graft preparation. We then
proceed to the arthroscopic preparation of the knee.
