Surgery For The Shoulder Impingement Syndrome

And Rotator Cuff Tears

 

After Discharge from Hospital


After you go home you you must do your shoulder exercises as shown in the hospital, a minimum of three times a day. You can see your local physiotherapist to help you as soon as you like.
 

I will normally see you again in the rooms approximately 10 days after your shoulder surgery. A formal exercise program is then started if not already done so with a physiotherapist.

The wounds are usually left open, with no dressing on them, after the stitch ends are removed.
