An internationally-recognised pioneer of shoulder surgery, Sydney shoulder specialist Dr Mark Haber seamlessly combines experience, innovation and an unwavering commitment to patient well-being to improve surgical outcomes and minimise recovery times.

Mark is one of the most awarded arthroscopic shoulder specialists in Australia. He has presented at over 20 major international orthopaedic confer­ences in Australia and abroad, winning best paper awards including the esteemed ISAKOS Caspari award and has earned international recognition.

Dr Haber is honoured to have been the first surgeon in Australia to conduct computer-assisted shoulder surgery in January 2017 which has established him as one of the world’s foremost authorities on computer-navigated shoulder surgery. Mark has performed over 2000 shoulder arthroscopies and pioneered advanced modified techniques for arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repairs. These techniques are now used in Europe, Asia, England and in the US.

His ongoing research includes biomechanical studies and rigorous postoperative evaluations, looking at ways to optimize the procedure and rehabilitation.

He teaches advanced arthroscopic shoulder techniques to surgeons in Australia, Asia and Europe, and frequently welcomes domestic and international visitors to his operating theatres.
