Arthroscopic Repair From Our Talented Orthopaedic Surgeon in Sydney

Arthroscopic Repair From Our Talented Orthopaedic Surgeon in Sydney

Do you need shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff? There are many things to consider for your surgery, but the most important thing to consider is which surgeon you choose to go to. At Southern Orthopaedics, we are proud to say that we have one of the most talented orthopaedic surgeons in Sydney, and the method that he uses for his operations has changed the way that shoulder surgery is performed all over the world.

There are basically two types of shoulder surgery to repair the tendons in a torn rotator cuff. The first method is called open repair. Open repair requires the surgeon to place a traditional incision over the shoulder and detach the shoulder muscle in order to see better and have more access. The other option is an arthroscopic method, and it is the preferred method of our shoulder surgeon in Sydney. During this method of surgery a tiny camera is inserted in a small incision in order to guide the surgeon’s tools. Our experienced surgeon has completed over 2000 arthroscopic shoulder surgeries and he has even pioneered his own techniques that are now used across the globe.

Don’t leave your surgery up to just anyone; our shoulder specialist is one of the most experienced in Sydney.  For more information about the procedure please check out our site or schedule your appointment with our physician. When you choose us, you can rest assured that you are in good hands. We have one of Australia’s leading orthopaedic surgeons, and we are excited to help.
