Shoulder surgeons (Sydney) and Rotator Cuff Procedures

A torn rotator cuff is a common shoulder ailment. Especially as we age. Four small muscles are attached by tendons to the humerus (upper arm) bone. When everything is working properly, the muscles hold the ball and socket joint of the shoulder in place. When this system is damaged, the upper portion of the arm bone moves out of place and hits the roof of the shoulder, causing impingement and resulting in pain and difficulty raising the arm. Look for shoulder surgeons in Sydney who can help if your rotator cuff has torn.
